What I Do:
I operate on the basis that my customers' and candidates' needs are of the utmost importance to my business.
I have worked in the recruitment industry for over 24 years, for some rather large recruitment brands in the UK and South Africa, and have come to the conclusion that my kind of recruitment is best delivered directly.
I believe that the recruitment industry is a simple one, if you understand risk. Many recruitment companies overlook the risks of permanent recruitment with dire consequences, resulting in a recruitment industry with a relatively poor reputation for over charging and under delivering.
Through my role as Regional Director for the Institute of Recruitment Professionals in the South East, I promote best practice and ethical recruitment amongst our members. These are the beliefs that govern my own operating practices: Simple, direct, honest, clear.
I seek a tripartheid win when doing business: For my clients, my candidates and myself. This means that everyone gets the best possible solution, there is a lot of flexibility in how the service is ultimately delivered and the fee is the by-product of a job well done, rather than my single overriding aim.
My business, CR Associates, in based in Camberley Surrey with an alternative base in Birmingham, West Midlands. This gives me national access but there is no associated price tag. My own operating costs are low, and clients benefit from this.
My candidates get personalised, individual attention and I am very careful to consider that my business activities are likely to have deep and overriding consequences to people's lives and livelihoods. After all, finding a good and satisfying job is a key element in living a happy and fulfilled life. I am not willing to carry the futures of my candidate's families on my conscience. So I deal with the holistic person, not just the job seeker and this results in placements with high retention levels.
I believe that what I offer is truly fresh and different in today's hectic economy. And I deliver.
